“This story begins with a new neighbor and friend leaving for a trip to Uganda. My new neighbor, Nicole, had been looking for something … some way to give back for all in her life she had been so blessed with. Once she left on this voyage, there was no turning back. Not for her, not for her friends or family. Her life and those around her would be forever changed & touched by her words, her letters … Nicole’s letters. On her return she helped the school and orphanage obtain funding for a well and is helping this village of orphans become self-sufficient. The power of intent is simply amazing!”

“My heart is pounding as I think of writing this email. All day I look forward to sharing my experiences with all of you. I cry every night I come home and read from those of you who have already offered to sponsor a child. You really have no idea what it will mean to them. These children that I interview, I can see it in them that they feel that their future rides on “giving me the right answer”. I try to make them not feel like that but sometimes I don’t know what to do.”
